Dear Mr. Vernon.

Hong Kong Government Wireless Service.

It is possible that as a result of Sir S. Wilson's visit

something might arise regarding the above. Hence I think the

attached extract from a personal letter to me from Mr. L. H. King,

the Government Electrical Engineer in Hong Kong, may be of interest.

Mr. King has built up a very successful Government Wireless

Undertaking and he feels very strongly the possibility of the

business being sacrificed to bolster up the Communication

Company's cable system, thereby letting the foreigners capture

the wireless traffic.
